Man arrested after vehicle tires slashed, windows broken in St. Johnsbury

ST. JOHNSBURY — Police say a man from West Topsham was arrested on a warrant following an incident in St. Johnsbury.

Authorities were notified of a vehicle with four tires slashed, and every window broken at the Comfort Inn in St. Johnsbury on December 23.

Police say with the description of the car and offender it was believed Justin French was the one involved.

Troopers located French at the Comfort Inn, and he was taken into custody without incident.

Police say French was found to have several warrants for second-degree aggravated domestic assault, unlawful mischief, violation of probation, convicted of violent crime – firearm possession prohibition, and violation of probation.

French was issued a citation to appear on January 30 for the violation of unlawful mischief.

Police say Alisha Wedge was located with French and was cited to appear on January 30 for the violation of aiding and abetting.

Kayla Cabey was also located with French and was cited to appear on January 30 for the violation of aiding and abetting.
