BARTON — A 36-year-old man from Orleans was cited for false pretenses following an incident in Barton back in June, police say.
On June 16, authorities were notified of a theft of checks from a home on South Barton Road.
Police say one of the stolen checks was cashed at North Country Bank in Orleans.
Video footage from the bank revealed Roland Souliere Jr. was the person who cashed the check.
Souliere was issued a citation to appear in court.
