2 horses cause single-vehicle crash in Bristol

BRISTOL — A 58-year-old man from Middlebury was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Bristol early this morning.

The crash took place near the intersection of VT Route 116, and River Road, at around 5:00 a.m.

Police say that Bruce Bushey was traveling south on Vermont Route 116 when he hit two horses that were in the southbound lane.

State police say they are looking for assistance in identifying the owners of the horses.
