CLARENDON — Three people were injured during a single-vehicle crash in Clarendon yesterday.

Authorities were notified of a crash with powerlines down on Middle Road at around 11:50 a.m.

The driver was identified as Padriagh Miner.

Police say Miner and his two passengers were transported by Regional Ambulance Service to the Rutland Regional Medical Center for further evaluation of injuries.

The vehicle was headed north on Middle Road when it left the east side of the road and into a powerline pole.

Police say speed was a contributing factor to the crash.
