MONKTON — A 47-year-old man was arrested for first-degree aggravated domestic assault following an incident in Monkton on Monday.
Police say they were notified of a family fight on Monday at a home on Hardscrabble Road at around 12:15 a.m.
Police allege that Jonathan Turner, of Monkton, attempted to strangle and cause serious bodily injury to a household member.
Yesterday, police say they located Turner at his home, where he was placed under arrest.
He was transported to the New Haven barracks for processing.
At the conclusion of processing, Turner was brought to the Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division, where he was held to await arraignment.
