Williamstown man charged with DUI #3, DLS

WILLIAMSTOWN — A 42-year-old man was charged following an incident in Williamstown on Wednesday.

Authorities say they received a be-on-the-lookout for two intoxicated drivers on Main Street at around 6:35 p.m.

Police located and stopped one of the vehicles shortly after the call.

Jason Ward, of Williamstown, showed signs of impairment and was run through field sobriety exercises.

He was arrested for suspicion of DUI and criminal DLS.

Ward was transported to the Middlesex barracks for processing.

Ward was later released and cited to appear in court on June 22 to answer to the charges of driving under the influence #3 and criminal DLS.
