JERICHO — A 59-year-old woman was cited for assault following an incident in Jericho on Saturday.
Authorities say they were notified of a dispute at a home on Pinehurst Road at around 4:25 p.m.
Following an investigation, police allege that Lori Genest, of Jericho, hit a 42-year-old man causing pain and injury.
Genest was processed and issued a citation to appear in court on August 23, to answer the charge.
