RUTLAND — A 34-year-old man from Bennington was charged following an incident that took place in Rutland back in February.
On February 7, authorities say they began an investigation into a report of an assault by Inmate Douglas Marsh on a Correctional Officer at MVCRF at around 2:00 p.m.
The Vermont Department of Corrections reported that Marsh had physically assaulted Fuller.
As a result, Marsh was charged with simple assault and assault on a Correctional Officer.
He was ordered to appear in court on June 27 to answer the charges.
