Motorcycle crash in Rutland, driver charged with DUI #2

RUTLAND — A 30-year-old man from Brandon is facing charges following a crash in Rutland early this morning.

Authorities say they were notified of a motorcycle crash on US Route 7 at around 12:45 a.m.

According to the report, Jason Rowe was traveling north at a high rate of speed on his 2016 Suzuki Motorcycle when he was unable to navigate the curve in the road and crashed.

While speaking with Rowe, police say they observed indicators of impairment.

He was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center for injuries and processed for DUI.

After processing Rowe was released on a citation to appear in court to answer the charges of DUI #2 and driving with a criminally suspended license.
