Police investigating hit-and-run crash in Franklin County

GEORGIA — Police are looking for a driver who fled the scene of a crash in Georgia yesterday.

Authorities were notified of the crash on I-89 north at around 1:30 p.m.

The driver struck the victim’s vehicle causing him to leave the road.

The driver then fled the scene.

According to the report, the vehicle was a silver Volkswagen GTI bearing unknown Vermont plates and an “MD Motors” logo on the rear.

Police say the suspect vehicle is believed to have passenger-side damage.
