Jackknifed truck closes Vermont Route 22A, Addison

ADDISON — A 29-year-old man from New York was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Addison on Monday.

The crash took place on Vermont Route 22A at around 4:00 a.m.

According to the report, Raihan Lukman, 29, of Bronx, New York, was headed south and due to the icy conditions lost control of the vehicle, exited the road, and jackknifed.

This caused both northbound and southbound travel lanes to be blocked.

Vermont Route 22A was closed for approximately 6 hours while crews worked to clear the road.

State Police were assisted at the scene by the Department of Motor Vehicles and Addison Fire Department.
