Man arrested for domestic assault in Wallingford

WALLINGFORD — A 54-year-old man was arrested for domestic assault following an incident in Wallingford on Tuesday.

Authorities say they were notified of a domestic disturbance that occurred at a home on Main Street at around 9:20 p.m.

Police allege that Paul Webster, of Wallingford, physically assaulted a family member.

Webster fled the scene following the assault.

He was located the following day and taken into custody.

Webster was processed at the Rutland barracks and was issued conditions of release and a citation to answer the charge.
