MENDON — A 27-year-old woman from New York was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Mendon today.
The vehicle crashed into a power pole on Sherwood Drive at around 9:40 a.m.
According to the report, Albina Volkova, of Queensbury, NY, was headed downhill toward Meadow Lake Drive and was unable to slow down while attempting to round a bend in the road on the snow-covered road surface.
Police say her vehicle collided with a power pole, breaking the pole, and causing moderate contact damage to the front end of the vehicle.
State Police were assisted on the scene by Green Mountain Power.
No injuries were reported.
