Man arrested after rollover crash in Middlesex

MIDDLESEX — A 29-year-old man from Pennsylvania was arrested following a crash in Middlesex yesterday.

Authorities say they were on routine patrol on I-89 south at around 12:45 a.m.

A man was spotted walking in the breakdown lane attempting to flag down vehicles.

James Ficco, of Cresco, PA, told police that he was in a crash.

His vehicle could be seen rolled over off of US Route 2.

Police allege that Ficco showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.

He was transported to the Middlesex barracks for processing.

While being processed Ficco assaulted troopers numerous times with bodily fluids, police say.

He was transported to the Northwest Correctional Facility where he was lodged.
