Driver charged with DUI after crash in Bolton

BOLTON — A 24-year-old man from South Burlington was arrested for DUI following a crash in Bolton yesterday.

Authorities were notified that a vehicle had driven off the road into the ditch and was on its side on the Bolton Valley Access Road south of the resort at around 11:05 p.m.

Police identified the driver as Sage Blackburn when they arrived.

While speaking to Blackburn, police say they observed several indicators of impairment.

Blackburn was arrested for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Williston barracks for processing.

At the conclusion of processing, Blackburn was issued a citation to appear in court on February 17 to answer to the charges of DUI #1 and was released at a detox facility.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Blackford Towing.
