Arrest made following robbery in Wallingford

WALLINGFORD — A 24-year-old man was arrested following a robbery in Wallingford yesterday.

Authorities were alerted to a robbery at the Jiffy Mart on Vermont Route 103 at around 6:05 p.m.

According to the report, the suspect entered the store and demanded money and cigarettes from the store employee.

Police say the man fled the area on foot after the robbery.

Following an investigation, police allege Dawson Frazier was the man who robbed the store.

Police say they located Frazier in Clarendon and took him into custody.

Frazier was found to be in possession of crack cocaine at the time of his arrest.

He was transported to the State police barracks for processing.

He was lodged at the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility on 1,000 bail.
