WESTFORD — A 56-year-old woman from Westford was killed in a single-vehicle crash at around 7:50 p.m. on Wednesday.
The crash took place on Westford-Milton Road, in the town of Westford.
Police say a 2014 Honda CRV, operated by Heather Valyou, was traveling east when it veered off the road and struck a tree head-on.
Valyou suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased upon the arrival of first responders.
The Vermont State Police were assisted on scene by the Westford and Essex Fire Departments.
This crash is still under investigation.
