Driver injured in rollover crash on I-89 in Richmond

RICHMOND — A 31-year-old man from Essex was involved in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Richmond this morning.

The crash took place on Interstate 89 at around 9:35 a.m.

According to the report, the driver, identified as Nicole Anderson, was headed south on the interstate when she hit black ice and lost control of her vehicle.

Police say Anderson traveled into the median where her vehicle rolled multiple times.

She was taken to the University of Vermont Medical Center for her injuries.

Interstate 89 was down to one lane for a period of time while the scene was being cleared.

State Police were assisted on scene by Bolton Fire, and Richmond Police, and the vehicle was towed by Anytime Towing.
