Barre man charged after allegedly showing gun during road rage incident

MIDDLESEX — A 31-year-old man from Barre was arrested on multiple charges following an incident in Middlesex yesterday.

Authorities were notified of a road rage incident that occurred on Interstate 89 south, between exit 11 and exit 9, at around 10:10 p.m.

Police say the incident reached a level where Justin Galloway allegedly brandished a firearm to ward off the other vehicle involved in the incident.

Following an investigation, it led to the arrest of Galloway at his home in Barre.

Police say he was transported to the Middlesex State Police barracks for processing.

He was released with a citation to appear in court on December 6 to answer to the charges of aggravated assault, negligent operation, criminal threatening, reckless endangerment, and disorderly conduct.
