Clarendon man arrested for aggravated domestic assault, armed with deadly weapon

CLARENDON — A 37-year-old man was arrested for 1st degree aggravated domestic assault in Clarendon yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified of a domestic disturbance at around 5:15 p.m.

Police allege that Anthony Savard, of Clarendon, had “willfully and recklessly caused a family or household member serious bodily injury.”

Police say he was armed with a deadly weapon in the process.

Savard was transported to the Rutland barracks and released to the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility for lack of $20,000 bail.
