KILLINGTON — A 53-year-old woman from Bridgewater was arrested on a warrant after an incident with police in Killington yesterday.

Police say they observed a motor vehicle violation while patrolling US Route 4 in the area of the Killington flats at around 12:50 p.m.

As the trooper turned around, the vehicle sped off at a high rate of speed, passing multiple vehicles, and leaving the traveled portion of the road at US Route 4 and Wardwell Road in an attempt to elude police.

According to the report, no pursuit was initiated.

Following an investigation, police allege that Victoria Reaser had driven in a negligent manner.

Police also say Reaser had an active in-state warrant.

She was placed into custody and transported to the Rutland barracks for processing.

She was given a citation to appear in court on December 6 for the charge of negligent operation.
