Motorcycle rider injured after crash in Pittsford

PITTSFORD — A 30-year-old man from Rutland was seriously injured during a motorcycle crash in Rutland yesterday.

The incident took place on Corn Hill Road at around 7:30 p.m.

Police identified the driver as Joseph Kay.

Due to the extent of his injuries, Kay was transported to the Rutland Regional Medical Center. 

Following an investigation, it was found that Kay was traveling south on Corn Hill Road, when he went off the west side of the road. 

He crashed into an embankment on the west side of Corn Hill Road.
