Police: Brighton home ransacked during burglary

BRIGHTON — Police are investigating a burglary that took place in Brighton last week.

David Gerstel told police his home on Cedarwood Drive had been burglarized while he was away.

Cpl. Amy LeClair said that the home had not been occupied since November of 2020.

Police say Gerstel’s residence had been ransacked inside, causing damage to several items.

According to the report, evidence was collected from the scene.
