Driver charged after crash in Dummerston

DUMMERSTON — A 26-year-old woman from Newfane was cited following a crash in Dummerston on Monday. 

Authorities were notified of a single-vehicle crash that took place on Vermont Route 30 near Williamsville Road at around 7:10 p.m.

A second caller told police that the vehicle was continuing down the road and had struck multiple signs and a vehicle.

When troopers arrived the vehicle had come to a stop and the operator was out of the vehicle and injured. 

Police say the driver, identified as Tiffany Palmer, was transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for her injuries.

Following an investigation, it was found that Palmer was impaired at the time of the crash.
