Police looking for driver after hit-and-run in North Troy

NORTH TROY — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver who fled the scene of an accident in North Troy yesterday.

The two-vehicle crash took place on Vermont Route 105 at around 2:30 p.m.

Kenneth Carriero told police that a black Ford truck with a Vermont temporary tag hit his vehicle.

Carriero was parked on the shoulder when his side view mirror was hit and damaged by the passing vehicle’s passenger-side mirror.

Carriero managed to snap a photo of the other vehicle.

Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has information regarding the driver is being asked to call 334-8881.
