Craftsbury man arrested for 5th DUI

EDEN — A 43-year-old Craftsbury man was arrested on multiple charges including his fifth DUI earlier this week.

Police say they initiated a traffic stop on Route 100 at around 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday.

The driver was identified as Dennis Hodgdon, who they say showed signs of impairment.

Following an investigation, police found that Hodgdon was under the influence of alcohol.

He was arrested and transported to the Morristown Police Department.

He was later lodged at Northwest Correctional Facility.

Police say during the investigation Hodgdon attempted to implicate another and was found to have a criminally suspended license.

He is facing multiple charges which include DUI #5, DLS, and false information to police.
