Single-vehicle crash with injuries, North Troy

NORTH TROY — Emergency workers responded to a single-vehicle crash with injuries in North Troy on Saturday.

The crash took place on Vermont Route 105 at around 7:15 p.m.

Police say Lindsay Geoffrey was traveling east when she veered off the road, striking a steep embankment and mailbox.

Amanda Roberge, a passenger inside the vehicle, had to be extricated by rescue workers.

Both Geoffrey and Roberge were transported to North Country Hospital.

North Troy Fire and Missisquoi Ambulance service responded to the scene.

Police say the crash is still under investigation at this time.
