BB gun and shotgun vandalism reported in Holland, Derby

DERBY — Police have been investigating a string of vandalism across the area this month involving a shotgun and a BB gun.

The first incident was reported on May 2, on Valley Road in Holland.

Police say two mailboxes were shot with a shotgun.

Then on Saturday, May 9, vandalism was reported at Walt’s Sales and Service in Derby.

Sometime overnight, an unknown person shot one of the storefront windows with a BB gun.

Police say they received a second report of windows being shot at the Derby Community Church.

According to the police report, multiple windows were shot causing significant damage.

Police are still investigating this case, and have not said if the incidents are related.
