GLOVER — A 60-year-old motorcyclist from Lincoln, New Hampshire, was involved in a crash on Saturday in the town of Glover.

Police say Richard Lavasser, was riding a 1997 Suzuki VZ800V motorcycle, when he hit some gravel, causing him to lose control of his bike.

Lavasser was traveling east on Vermont Route 16, and slid across the westbound lane of travel, at which time he was thrown from his motorcycle.

Lavasser was transported by Glover Ambulance to North Country Hospital for minor injuries.

Police say he was wearing a DOT approved helmet, which helped lessen his injuries.

His motorcycle sustained damage to the windshield, headlight, saddlebags, and pegs
