Greenwich police locate three missing persons after issuing amber alert

GREENWICH — Police responded to a residence in the Byram area on April 28 after receiving a report of a possible dispute and potential kidnapping involving three individuals.

Upon arrival and initial investigation, the Greenwich Police Department (GPD) deemed the situation serious enough to issue an amber alert and sought the public’s assistance through news outlets to locate the missing subjects.

The collaborative effort led to a swift resolution when the individuals were found in Norwalk, Connecticut, shortly after the public announcement.

According to authorities, all three subjects were safe.

While the individuals have been located, GPD continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding their disappearance.

Officers are actively piecing together the details of the case.

As the investigation is still active, GPD extended gratitude towards community members and the public for their prompt response and assistance in the matter.
