Framingham police identify victim in weekend homicide

FRAMINGHAM — The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, along with Framingham Police Chief Lester Baker, released the identity of a man killed in an apparent homicide last weekend in Framingham.

Anthony Junior Lopez, an employee at Hot Table, was found deceased behind his place of work on April 20.

Authorities are waiting for a ruling on the cause of death from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The investigation into Lopez’s death is being conducted by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the DA’s Office, and the Framingham Police Department.

Investigators are urging anyone who might have information or witnessed any suspicious activity near 1 Worcester Road on Saturday night to contact the Framingham Police Department at 508-532-5923.
