Woman faces multiple charges following domestic disturbance in Vernon

VERNON — A local woman was arrested late Saturday night after Vermont State Police responded to a domestic disturbance call on Fort Bridgman Road.

Authorities were called to the scene at about 9:32 p.m. where they conducted an investigation that led to the arrest of 48-year-old Circe Fagan.

According to the Vermont State Police – Westminster Barracks, Fagan assaulted a household member, causing them to fear for their safety.

During the arrest, Fagan allegedly resisted and went on to assault the troopers.

She was taken to the Westminster Barracks for processing and then lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility with bail set at $500.

Fagan was given a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham County Division, on April 22 at 12:30 p.m. to respond to charges of domestic assault, resisting arrest, assault of a protected professional, and interference with access to emergency services.

The Vermont State Police maintains a policy of not releasing the names of victims of sexual assault or domestic violence.
