MILFORD — On April 13, Milford Police Department officers responded to a disturbance at the Milford Inn at 345 Old Gate Ln, where a firearm was reportedly displayed during a breach of peace incident.

The suspect, Raquan Brown, a 30-year-old male from Bronx, NY, was allegedly causing a commotion by aggressively banging on a motel room door, with the victim claiming to have seen a firearm on his person.

Officers located Brown in his vehicle within the inn’s parking lot, where a subsequent search uncovered a Taurus G2S 9MM handgun, associated ammunition, a knife, a homemade stabbing device, and quantities of meth and oxycodone/fentanyl.

Brown, a previously convicted felon with active extraditable warrants from New York, was arrested and faces charges including three counts of weapons in a motor vehicle, carrying a pistol without a permit, criminal possession of a firearm, breach of peace, and possession of a controlled substance.
