NEW HAVEN — One person is dead and another has sustained life-threatening injuries following a rollover accident on I-91 South near exit 7.
Emergency personnel arrived at the scene shortly after the crash occurred at 10 p.m. Monday.
The accident involved a single vehicle that rolled over for unknown reasons.
One teen occupant, a 17-year-old female, was pronounced dead at the scene, while another was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
A driver in a second vehicle, a 24-year-old man from New York, was not hurt.
