IRASBURG — A truck carrying a load that was too tall, struck a power line in Irasburg on Friday.

At around 1:45 p.m. police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Creek Road.

Jesse Peters, 28, of Albany, was traveling north when his truck struck a power line, causing the pole to collapse.

According to police, Peters was found to be carrying a load that was too high, and this caused his 2016 Freightliner to hit the wires.

Peters was not injured as a result of the crash.

Creek Road was closed for a short period of time.
