SHEFFIELD — Vermont State Police arrested a 41-year-old Sheffield woman Sunday on charges related to the alleged abuse of a vulnerable adult.
Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks began investigating the case at approximately 10:11 a.m. on April 6 at a location on Vermont Route 122 in Sheffield.
Following their investigation, police determined probable cause existed to arrest Emily Lussier on charges of abuse by unlawful restraint and unlawful confinement, abuse of a vulnerable adult, and neglect of a vulnerable adult.
Lussier was processed at the St. Johnsbury Barracks.
She was held on $10,000 bail and issued conditions of release.
The identity of the victim was not released, in accordance with Vermont State Police policy regarding victims of domestic violence.
