NUNDA — A 43-year-old Nunda woman faces burglary and larceny charges after allegedly stealing money and property from a local business, according to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a business in the Village of Nunda at approximately 8:30 a.m. on March 25 for a reported burglary.
Upon investigation, deputies determined the incident occurred on March 21 and involved multiple suspects.
Jennifer Gath allegedly entered the business and stole money and property from a locked area inside the establishment.
Gath was arrested on March 28 and charged with felony Burglary in the Third Degree and Petit Larceny.
She was processed at the Livingston County Jail and arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part before Village of Dansville Justice Kenney.
Despite the District Attorney’s recommendation of $15,000 cash bail or $75,000 bond, the judge released Gath on her own recognizance.
The Livingston County Public Defender’s Office represented Gath at the arraignment.
The Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division handled the investigation with assistance from the Criminal Investigation Division.
The investigation remains ongoing and additional arrests are pending, according to authorities.
