POWNAL — Vermont State Police arrested a 22-year-old Pownal man on charges of first-degree aggravated domestic assault following a reported family fight Sunday evening.
Troopers from the Shaftsbury Barracks responded to a residence in Pownal at approximately 8:39 p.m. on March 30 after receiving a report of an active family fight.
Through their investigation, officers determined that Skylar R. Kinney had caused serious bodily injury to a family or household member.
Kinney was taken into custody and transported to the Shaftsbury Barracks for processing.
He is being held without bail.
The Vermont State Police did not release the name of the victim, in accordance with their policy regarding victims of domestic violence.
