BOURNE — A driver was cited for excessive speed following a single-car crash on Scenic Highway east of Bourne Scenic Park on Tuesday morning.
The operator sustained minor injuries that did not require on-scene medical treatment, according to an update from the Bourne Police Department.
The vehicle was removed without incident, and the roadway has been cleared for normal traffic flow.
Police issued a citation to the driver for “speed greater than reasonable” following their investigation of the motor vehicle accident.
Bourne Fire Department and Bourne Police Department had initially warned motorists to expect delays while emergency personnel responded to the scene.
