Man arrested for property damage, lewd conduct in Roxbury

ROXBURY — A local man was arrested Saturday night after allegedly damaging property and engaging in lewd behavior on Bull Run Road.

Shane Bartshe, 33, of Roxbury, faces charges of unlawful mischief and lewd and lascivious conduct following the incident that occurred around 10 p.m.

Troopers from the Vermont State Police Berlin Barracks responded to a residence after receiving reports that Bartshe was causing damage to the property.

According to police, Bartshe then exited the residence and engaged in lewd and lascivious behavior in the street.

Officers took Bartshe into custody at the scene and transported him to the Berlin Barracks for processing.

Bartshe was issued a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court Criminal Division to answer to the charges.
