JOHNSTON — A 40-year-old Johnston man was arrested on multiple drug and weapons charges after police executed a search warrant at a Lafayette Street residence on March 11.
Anthony Rubino was charged with seven offenses after investigators from the Johnston Police Department’s Detective Division seized an assortment of narcotics including fentanyl, psilocybin, Adderall and Xanax.
Police also confiscated a .40 caliber pistol with a large capacity feeding device and $6,880 in U.S. currency during the raid.
Rubino faces three counts of possession with intent to deliver Schedule I/II narcotics and one count of possession with intent to deliver Schedule III/IV narcotics.
Additional charges include possession of a firearm while committing a controlled substance violation, possession of a firearm while committing a crime of violence, and possession of a prohibited large capacity feeding device.
Following his arraignment in 3rd District Court on March 12 at 9 a.m., Rubino was ordered held without bail.
