Mount Holly man faces domestic assault charge

MOUNT HOLLY — A local man is facing charges following a domestic disturbance Sunday evening.

Vermont State Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in Mount Holly at approximately 7:36 p.m. on March 9.

Following an investigation, troopers determined that David Stanek, 67, of Mount Holly, had caused bodily injury to a family or household member.

Stanek was taken into custody and transported to the Rutland Barracks for processing.

He was later released with a citation to appear in court and was issued court-imposed conditions of release.

The name of the victim was not released, as Vermont State Police does not disclose the identities of victims of domestic or sexual assault.
