HIGHGATE — Vermont State Police arrested a Washington man Tuesday after responding to a domestic assault incident on Saint Armand Road.
Robert Miller, 54, was charged with domestic assault committed in the presence of a child following the incident reported at approximately 8:11 a.m. on March 11.
Troopers determined through their investigation that Miller had caused pain and fear to a domestic partner while a juvenile was present.
Miller was later located and issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court, Criminal Division at 1 p.m. on March 12 to answer to the charges.
The name of the victim was not released in accordance with Vermont State Police policy regarding victims of domestic violence.
