NEWPORT –– The community is invited to join Rural Community Transportation (RCT) on Thursday, March 13, from 1-2 p.m. for an informal community discussion about public transportation services in the Newport area.
Attendees will have a chance to connect with members of the RCT team, local community, and riders.
“We look forward to meeting you, gathering feedback, answering questions, and sharing tips to help make the most of the services available,” Lilias Ide, Public Relations Manager with RCT said.
Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
The event will take place at the Newport Municipal Building Basement, 222 Main Street in Newport. Organizers say that attendees should enter in front and go downstairs or enter at ground level through the back door.
