ANSONIA — A 28-year-old Ansonia man was arrested Wednesday on child pornography charges following a four-month investigation.
Joseph Alfano was charged with first-degree possession of child sex abuse material after police executed search and arrest warrants at his residence.
Detective Mark Clifford led the investigation, which began in November.
Alfano was held on a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned at Derby Superior Court on March 5.
Police said evidence seized during the search will be examined and could result in additional charges.
