WORCESTER — A Worcester man was arrested early Tuesday morning after allegedly stealing a vehicle from Chandler Street.
At approximately 12:25 a.m., a Worcester Police officer took a report for a stolen vehicle on Chandler Street.
A be on the lookout was issued for the vehicle.
At approximately 2:03 a.m., an officer located the vehicle on Main Street.
Officers pulled the vehicle over and told the male operator to exit the vehicle, which he did.
The owner of the vehicle was called to the scene where she picked up the vehicle.
She stated that she did not know the suspect and she never gave him permission to operate the vehicle.
Frank Boateng, 30, of Worcester, was placed under arrest.
He is charged with Larceny of a Motor Vehicle and Use of a Motor Vehicle Without Authority.
