WATERBURY — A Ryder truck lost multiple metal auto part cages on Interstate 89 Southbound early Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:16 a.m. near mile marker 63.4.
Troopers from the Berlin Barracks responded to reports of a traffic hazard.
The spilled cages created a significant obstruction on the roadway.
The Agency of Transportation arrived to clear the scene and restore traffic flow.
No injuries were reported among the drivers of the eight vehicles that sustained damage.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
