PAWTUCKET — Members of the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Task Force and the Pawtucket Police Special Squad have apprehended Derrick Dacruz, 37, on various drug and firearm offenses, police announced.
Dacruz, a resident of North Union Street in Lincoln, was taken into custody on Jan. 13 on charges that include possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance—cocaine, multiple counts of possession of a firearm during a controlled substance violation, and several counts related to possession of large-capacity feeding devices.
He is also facing charges of controlled substance conspiracy.
Following his arrest, Dacruz was transported to the Lincoln Barracks for processing.
He was later arraigned in the Sixth Division District Court.
Authorities have not released further details regarding the circumstances of the arrest or the quantity of drugs and firearms seized.
