LYNDON — A Springfield man was cited for unlawful trespass after a disturbance at a local Cumberland Farms store, Vermont State Police said.
Troopers from the St. Johnsbury barracks responded at about 9:01 p.m. to a call from the store at 957 Broad St., where employees reported a male they wanted banned from the premises.
Upon arrival, police could not find the man, later identified as 33-year-old Andrel D. Flowers of Springfield, Massachusetts.
However, a subsequent call reported that Flowers had reentered the store.
With help from bystanders, authorities located Flowers on a nearby street.
Flowers was taken into custody and brought to the St. Johnsbury barracks for processing.
He was released with a citation to appear in the Caledonia County Superior Court Criminal Division on Feb. 10 at 8:30 a.m.
