PUTNEY — Vermont Drug Task Force officers arrested a New Hampshire man on outstanding warrants and drug charges following a tip-off from Keene police.

William S. Bostwick, 42, of Keene, was taken into custody on Jan. 9 around 8:15 p.m. on Putney Landing Road.

Bostwick had two active warrants for his arrest from the Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, for failing to appear in court on a variety of charges, including grand larceny, providing false information to a police officer, and multiple DUI and drug-related offenses.

Upon his arrest, a search of Bostwick’s hotel room revealed additional quantities of cocaine, leading to further charges of felony cocaine possession and five counts of violating court-ordered conditions of release.

The Vermont State Police acknowledged the collaborative effort with the Keene, NH, and Brattleboro police departments, which resulted in Bostwick’s apprehension.
